​I offer online guitar lessons via Skype (my username is captainmusic3) and almost half of my students are located remotely.

 

The online lessons are tailored to the student's needs and are no different from in-person lessons. We can even record sections of our lessons and produce real-time homework and video reminders/summaries of the lesson plan.

 

I use Skype or Zoom, but Skype keeps a history of our chat log which can be used for homework and to compare progress over time.
